Gia Regan is an artist living and working in the DC area. Inspired a few years ago by an alternative photographic process using peel-apart Polaroid film, she creates image transfers from color slides and works each original print by hand with paints and pigments.

"Creating these small and cherished works helps me interpret what surrounds me every day. My favorite discovery has been the ability of a camera lens to alter the ordinary into something meaningful."
